Program Regulations

Cyprus’s Golden Visa program, officially the Permanent Residence by Investment scheme, was introduced in 2013 and is regulated under Regulation 6(2) of the Aliens and Immigration Regulations, pursuant to the Aliens and Immigration Law (Cap. 105). The program grants permanent residence to non-EU nationals who make qualifying investments, primarily in Cypriot real estate. Applications are assessed by the Civil Registry and Migration Department, with strict due diligence, source-of-funds verification, and compliance requirements. Application Process
